About the stand

Lifelong friends Sonny Jarock and Jeremy Williamson opened the Santa Fe location when the recession was just beginning to take effect in 2008. Opening Mile High Vienna Stand was a dream come true for Sonny, who grew up visiting his hometown hot dog stand Elmwood Park, Ill., before ball games. The LoDo location opened in 2010 and is now a popular spot to meet before Rockies games; the large patio has a direct view of the main entrance to the field.

Reviews

This offer is valid at both Mile High Vienna Stand locations. On the popular review site Yelp.com, 39 reviewers gave their Santa Fe location an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars, while 18 gave the LoDo location an average of 4 out of 5 stars. Read some good things they had to say:

This place is an amazingly good deal, especially if you get in here during their hot dog happy hour. You can get a couple of fully loaded hot dogs for a few dollars and they are amazing.
-Craig R., 11/26/11
The raves about the hot dogs are plentiful (and spot on) but what really takes my breath away is the Italian Beef. I grew up in Chicagoland with a family that treats an outing to Pops or Portillos like it is an outing to church, and I still think that the beef at Mile High is better!
-Erin M., 12/31/11
We LOVE this place. It's our favorite date. We go at least once a month and going between 3 and 6 it's happy hour! Dogs are like 2 bucks it doesn't get any frickin better then that. Their fries are the best ever and it's the closest thing to a dog straight from Chicago.
-Austin S., 12/17/10
